Nog niet bevestigd door China, Rusland of het Witte Huis maar we geloven het wel

De Financial Times schreef hedennacht: "US officials told the Financial Times that Russia had requested military equipment and other assistance since the start of the invasion. They declined to give details of what Russia had requested. Another person familiar with the situation said the US was preparing to warn its allies, amid some indications that China may be preparing to help Russia. Other US officials have said there were signs that Russia was running out of some kinds of weaponry as the war in Ukraine extends into its third week. The White House did not comment."

En waarom zou China deze gelegenheid niet aangrijpen om Rusland - dat ook nog eens economisch gebroken wordt - steeds meer tot Chinese vazalstaat te maken?

Van Bidens binnenlandse veiligheidsadviseur Jake Sullivan die de Chinezen nog één keer waarschuwt liggen ze waarschijnlijk niet heel lang wakker. "I’m not going to sit here publicly and brandish threats. But what I will tell you is that we are communicating directly, privately to Beijing that there will absolutely be consequences for large scale sanctions evasion efforts or support to Russia to backfill them. We will not allow that to go forward and allow there to be a lifeline to Russia from these economic sanctions from any country anywhere in the world."

En dat gaat dus nog over economische hulp met die sancties. Dus stel je voor als het daadwerkelijk op militaire hulp aankomt, dan gaat Jake er écht iets van zeggen.
