Europese Commissie: 'Visumvrij reizen Turken ook mogelijk zonder aanpassing Turkse terreurwet'
Ach ja, de Europese Commissie. Daar wanen 28 eurocraten zich toch een beetje Plato's áristos, maar dan zonder daadwerkelijk enige wijsheid in pacht te hebben. En dan krijg je rare taferelen. Het lijkt namelijk alsof de Commissie de deal met Turkije tegen werkelijk elke prijs in stand wil houden. Wat vreemd is, aangezien eigenlijk niemand nog weet waar die deal Turkije nou toe verplicht. Is het de 1-natte-voor-1-droge-regeling? Betekent het dat Turkije hun hordes strategisch vluchtende Turklims één maandje niet inzet totdat de Sultan weer een eis bedenkt die de EU moet inwilligen? Enfin, wat de deal ook is, de Commissie wil 'em, het Europarlement lijkt nog altijd tegen. Zes dagen terug insisteerde de Commissie nog dat Ankara hun anti-"The conquest is Al-Andalus [Muslim Spain].
